James Douglas Stewart passed on June 16, 2012 with his family by his side in Jacksonville, Florida. A memorial service will be held at the Lakeshore Woman s Club on June 20th at 2:00pm. Jim Stewart was born on May 29, 1954 to George and Dorothy Stewart of Fellsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1988, Jim followed his work as a hired welder to Jacksonville, Florida. He soon after established his own business, Jim Stewart Welding, and continued to expand it until the time of his passing. Ten years later Jim met his wife Debby on a routine business errand, and one year after that they were husband and wife. Jim and Debby resided in Middleburg, FL where the two of them continued to run the welding business and spend their years together. Jim s creative mind was able to turn any idea into a functional product. He had a way of seeing things as an end result, and not just pieces laid in front of him. Honest, fair, caring, and trustworthy, he was known best for setting an amazing example with his business practices, friends, family, and life. His wife, a mother and father, three children, two sisters, four brothers, four stepchildren, eight grandchildren, and a father-in-law survive Mr. Stewart. A memorial fund has been set up in Jim s honor; please send all cards and correspondence to 5219 Colonial Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32210 in Debby Stewart s name
