Anne P. Griffin, 82, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 19, 2012. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. She volunteered in the Ladies Auxiliary and worked in retail at Lily Rubin’s and Liberty Furniture.

She is survived by two children; Daniel and Linda, three grandchildren, Carmela, Richard, and Cheyenne; a sister Carmela; and the LIGHT of her life, a great – grandson, Armando. Armando dearly misses his “yea- yah.” She was pre-deceased by her former husband, Richard J. Griffin. Her family and many friends will sorely miss her not only for her generosity, but also her feisty personality.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Assumption Catholic Church.
