William "Bill" H. Nihoul, 84, passed away August 8, 2012. Bill was born June 29, 1928 in Crescent City, FL. He graduated from the Carlisle Military Academy in South Carolina and went on to become a Licensed General Contractor. Through his successful business, Nihoul Development, Bill worked on many prominent projects in Jacksonville including Secret Cove. Bill loved his work, but nothing compared to his family. He is predeceased by his wife and best friend, Betty Nihoul, and his daughter, Cynthia Nihoul Kirkland. He is survived by his sister Mabel Doucette, and his daughter Julie Dammann, who loved him so much and whose privilege it was to care for him the last 4 years of his life. His other surviving children include, Billy Tallman, Mary Sandiford, Patricia Ellis, Robert Walters, Doug Nihoul, Don Nihoul and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
