Obituary
Bernice Mary Beeman, 94, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice Hadlow Center in Jacksonville, FL on Friday, March 11, 2011.
She was born on August 28, 1916 to Joseph and Ella Wheeler of Gabriels, NY and was a lifelong resident of Lake Placid, NY.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Gerald; and 2 brothers, Bernard Wheeler (Helen) and Don Wheeler (Mary).
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, David (Sandy); grandson, Greg (Trish) of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter, SSG Jennifer Fears of Ft. Sill, Lawton, OK; and 4 great-grandchildren; as well as a large extended family.
At her request, Bernice will be cremated and buried beside her beloved husband, Gerald, at a memorial service in Lake Placid, NY in July 2011.
