Avella C. Cason, 89, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. She, and her twin sister Vanilla, were born to the late Marshall and Verdi Crawford in Glen St. Mary, FL on December 13, 1921. Mrs. Cason was a member of Rhondo Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She retired from Cafeteria work with the Jacksonville School System and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and she loved cats. Mrs. Cason was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Cason and her twin sister, Vanilla Cason. She is survived by 2 daughters, Phyllis Ritter and Joan Hobson; son, John Bedard; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
