HUGHES James A. Hughes, 88, of Deerfield, Michigan died on May 7th at the McGraw Hospice where he was cared for with great compassion and dignity by the angels who walk among us. A veteran of WWII he was an electrical engineer by profession but his avocations were music and song. He is survived by his daughter Judith Hughes-Williams and her husband (his best buddy) J. Craig Williams of Neptune Beach. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 14 at the Isle of Faith Methodist Church, 18215 San Pablo Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
