Eleanor Miriam Hoelzer nee Bruning passed away peacefully on June 19, 2011. Eleanor spent most of her life in Middlesex County, New Jersey and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2008. Eleanor was preceded in death by her late husband Rueben C. Hoelzer, Jr. (Pop) and is survived by her son Kevin Hoelzer (Viki) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Karen Verderber (Rob) of Cleveland, OH and Patsy Earles of Columbus, OH and her sister, Barbara Grutter of Freehold, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Caitlin, Jason and Mary Beth as well as two great grandchildren. Eleanor graduated with an undergraduate degree from Rutgers and got her master’s degree from Wagner. She was the Administrator of the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge when she retired.
