Betty Bryan Turner, age 93, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on July 14, 2011 to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on April 11, 1918 in Orlando, FL, the daughter of the late Henry Chambers Bryan and May Atkinson Bryan. She is predeceased by her husband, Marvin Anderson Turner; three brothers, Oscar Bryan, Henry Bryan, and James Porter; and grandson, Bryan Porter Turner. Betty is survived by her children, Keeter Turner Prevatt, Marvin Anderson Turner, Jr., Nancy Turner Grant, and Joe W. Turner; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, May Porter. Betty was a lifelong member of Riverside Presbyterian Church and a founding member of the Deerwood Garden Circle. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, collecting antiques, and spending time with her family and friends. Memorials may be made to Riverside Presbyterian House and Community Hospice of NE FL.
