Kenneth L. Nield, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 15, 1927. He was a retired banker. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty; son, Wade of St. Johns, FL; grandsons: Michael of Jacksonville, FL, Lance Cpl Alex, USMC, Camp LeJeune, NC; granddaughter, Jenny of St. Johns, FL; sisters, Luewanna Dodd of Indianapolis, IN, Merilyn McNeal of Las Vegas, NV; and many in-laws and nieces and nephews.

A brief service will be held at the chapel of Northeast Florida Community Hospice, Earl B. Hadlow Center, with burial of his ashes at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
