Margie Ann Tillis, 69, Life long resident of Jacksonville, Fla. passed away June 19, 2012 at 6:50 AM after a long battle with cancer. Born to Lula and Roger Hartley in Jacksonville, Fla on December 29, 1942. She attended St. Josephs Catholic School.


She enjoyed camping, Bingo and being with her Family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by Lula and Roger Hartley, Brothers Lewis Hartley, Sonny Hartley, Eston Hartley and Dutchie Hartley. Sisters Bobby Jenkins, Gladis Lee and Faye Platt.


She's survived by sons Claude Tillis Jr.,(Bubba) and Russel Tillis (Rusty), Daughter in Law Dreama Tillis, Grand Children Melissa Roberts, (Ricky Roberts) Claude Tillis III, Ciji Neely, Sarah Tillis, and David Tillis and 9 great grandchildren, Ex-husband Claude Tillis Sr, Sisters Bert Williams, Maryjo Brown, and Alice Silva and 1 brother Roger (Pete) Hartley.
