Betty Jane Coats was born on July 8, 1946 in St. Louis, MO was promoted to glory on August 8, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. Memorial Services will be at The Salvation Army on Sat., August 18, 2012 at 15 E. Church Jacksonville, FL 32205 at 2pm. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Earl “CJ” Coats, and her children Michelle Staton, Joyce Anne & Michael Lamont Davis, Pamela Annette Miller and Daniel Aaron Nelson, and six grandchildren Ebony, Taylor, Megan, Aila, Elona, Jayden. Mrs. Coats was a Salvationist at the Salvation Army Jacksonville Citadel Corp where she was a church member and volunteer. She routinely offered her time and services to the community through the Salvation Army. In lieu of flowers please make Donations to the Salvation Army.
