Jack W. Scherer, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2012.

He married Elizabeth “Betty” Scherer on March 4, 1949 and together their goal was to make God’s world a better place.

He was a Marine who served during WWII and survived malaria during his service. He was an active member of IBEW 177 for over 65 years.

Jack and his wife Betty owned and operated F&S Sales Company for over fifty years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Scherer. He is survived by his son, Mark Scherer and daughter, Karen M. Scherer.
