Scott Travis Allen, 36, of Middleburg, FL passed away peacefully at home after an extended illness on December 21, 2013. He was born on May 2, 1977, to John William Allen and Karen Kulma Allen in Jacksonville, FL.

Scott attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and was a graduate of St. Johns River Community College. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army.

Scott was a talented artist, specializing in acrylic portraits and ink drawings. He enjoyed photography, playing drums, guitar, video games and spending time with family and friends. His niece Kayla was the light of his life.

Scott was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Seibert Allen, Mary Allen and Elizabeth Kulma. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Wendy Kay Allen, His niece, Kayla Williams, Grandfather Louis Kulma, aunts Linda K. Russow and Patricia (Steve) Kostyo, uncle Bruce (Sheila) Allen, and cousins Jim (Tara) Allen and Brett (Kelly) Allen and their children.

A memorial service celebrating Scott’s life will be on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 11:00 am at Fleming Island United Methodist Church, 7170 Hwy 17, Fleming Island with Pastor Ryan Hall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida.
