Jon Emory Bailey, 74, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on October 7, 2014. Son of Clarence and Marie (Smallwood) Bailey (deceased) of Youngstown, OH. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Leslie (Strunk) Bailey; daughters, Lisa Barta and Stacey Yeomans; grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole and Kaitlin Barta, Jesse and Tyler Yeomans and Jennifer (JF) Raymond; great-grandchildren, Julia, Bailey, Jordon and Lilyan; sister, Nancy Black; niece, Susan (Larry) Leone as well as many cousins. Jon was a Deacon and Choir member of Mandarin Presbyterian Church. He was a fire protection sprinkle designer and manager for 43 years with Grinnell, Wiginton & WW Gay. Jon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Inurnment will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors.
