Leonore Gallant age 93 of Honolulu, passed away on October 31, 2014.

Survived by her daughters Jo-Anne Gallant Willis, Hudson Falls, New York and Renee’ Gallant McKay, Kirkland, Washington and sons Michael (Rusty) Gallant, La Crosse, Florida and Peter Gallant, Saint Johns, Florida, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Born in Indiana Harbor, Indiana November 23, 1920. Moved to Honolulu in 1945 to work for the United Seamen’s Service, later worked for the Morrison Knudsen Construction Company, and the Hawaiian Telephone Company. Received a Master’s Degree from the University of Hawaii, Retired as a high school teacher having taught English at Castle and Kailua High School. Received the Mayor’s award for community service.

In April 2013, moved to Saint Johns Florida from Honolulu to live with family.

She was cremated. A celebration of life will occur with family and close friends at a later date.
