Karl “Fred” May, 70, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on November 20, 2015. Fred leaves behind his loving wife Sonya, son Karl May and wife Melissa, granddaughter Lily. Son Josh Hargis and wife Paula, grandchildren, Cameron, Reagan and Chaney. Daughter Cheri and husband Randy, granddaughters Aubrie and Erin, Step Sons, Adam and Drake Price. Fred was a Navy Vietnam Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 137. Fred was a Railroad retiree and managed Stan's Sandwich Shop in San Marco for several years. He was also a skilled commercial painter. Fred also leaves behind many, many friends including friends from Sherwood's, his favorite place to hang out with wife Sonya, where they played pool for hours and were extremely competitive with each other. Fred was a man who was loved by all and will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of Fred's life will be held at Sherwood's 1105 San Marco Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. on Saturday December 5th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
