Edwin Stephen (Steve) Howard 73 formally of Mooresville, NC passed away on Monday January, 18, 2016, at Baptist South Hospital in St. Augustine, Fl. Steve was a graduate of Mooresville High School, The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC and Rutgers Business College of Newark, New Jersey. He worked most of his life in the banking industry with a majority of it as a Vice President with First Union Bank as a International Lender until he retired and started his own business. Mr. Howard was born to E.Y. and Edna Mae Howard of Mooresville on Christmas Day 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Judith Duncan. Steve is survived by his wife of 30 years, Peggy Bustle Hill, of St. Augustine Fl., three sons, Stephen Howard of Charlotte, NC, Brent Howard,(Pam) of Mooresville, NC. and Craig Hill of St. Augustine, Four grandchildren, Jayson, and Anna Howard of Huntersville, Allyson and Avery Howard of Mooresville and his brother, Douglas Howard of South Carolina. Steve loved his family especially the grandchildren.
