William E. (Bill) Sweat, 74, died July 3, 2016. He was born in Jacksonville on Feb 26,1942. Bill attended Jacksonville Beach Elementary and graduated from D. U. Fletcher High School in 1960. He graduated from St. Johns River Community College and earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida. Bill was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a devoted and loving husband and father.
Bill is survived by his wife, Susan, son Kevin Sweat; step-children, Amy Calteux (Bill), Michael Goehrung (Samantha), Matthew Goehrung, Christopher Goehrung (Amber), sister, Lynette Stephens (Leon), 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
