Paul A Hamrick

Paul Hamrick, 85, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on July 25. He was
> born in Cowan, West Virginia. Paul graduated from Marshall University after serving in the Marine Corps in Korea. He was married to Carolyn Hamrick for almost 56 years and worked as a salesman in the golf turf equipment industry. Paul loved to play golf, he loved the Florida State Seminoles, and his country. He will be remembered for his colorful wit, humor, and over-the-top storytelling. Paul is preceded in death by his brothers Gene and George. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, son Doug, daughter Michelle Baker, son-in-law Russell Baker; granddaughters Katie Joiner and Kelli Baker; sisters Nancy Bigelow, Linda Sue Harrington, and Nell Long; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday, July 29 at 9:30 AM Lane 2. In lieu of flowers, Paul wanted to make sure that everyone looked after Carolyn.
