Gloria D. Smith, 58, of Jacksonville Beach, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Mrs. Smith was born on October 18, 1950 in Danville, VA to the late Raymond Pruitt and the late Beulah McKenzie. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. Smith is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Larry W. Smith; 3 daughters: Kimberly M. Miller, Lisa M. Smith, and Jenny (Greg) Clark; 5 brothers and sisters: Rick Pruitt, Raymond Pruitt, Dale Tucker, Donna Brown, and Nancy Tickle; and 3 grandchildren: Zachary, Lacey, and Michael.
