James R. Bryant, Jr.

James R. Bryant, 86, went home to Jesus on Dec. 19, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born in Oakland, CA. Family moved to Connecticut when he was five. He attended The Choate School and Cornell University, served as a Lead Bomber Pilot in WWII and returned to Cornell after the war. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Jim is survived by his wife of 63 years, June; son, John; daughters, Jennifer and Julie; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial services are at St. Francis in-the-field, 895 Palm Valley Rd, Ponte Vedra, on January 5, 2009 at 3:00 pm.
