Evelyn Marie Stewart Anderson, 79, died Jan. 28 in a Jacksonville, Fla.,
hospital. She was born Feb. 17, 1930, in Brownwood, Texas to George Tolbert
Stewart and Millie Cecil Cox of Nolanville, Texas. She was a resident of the
Beauclerc Nursing Home in Jacksonville since 2005.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Willie Anderson of
Westminster, S.C.; brothers Elmer, George, and Harry Stewart of Belton,
Texas; and sister Lou Gene Mabry of Belton.

Survivors include a daughter, Jerry Rosser (husband Jerome) Chappelle of
Harker Heights, Texas; and sons Donnie Ray (wife Gail) Anderson of
Jacksonville, Fla.; Bill (wife Wendy) Anderson of Providence, Fla.; Robert
Carl (wife Kimberly) Anderson; and Raymond Bell Anderson of Hazelhurst, Ga.;
16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters Thelma Olivia
Reynolds and Gladys Rachel Nelson of Belton.

Ms. Anderson will be buried next to her husband in a Veterans Cemetery in
San Antonio, Texas.
