Winnie Mae Hansen, 86, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her Jacksonville, FL residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hansen was born to the late Walter and Sarah Branton in Bonneau, SC on April 7, 1924. She moved to the Jacksonville area from Savannah, GA in 1973. She was an avid reader, gardener, and bridge card player. Mrs. Hansen will be remembered as a truly loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her beloved husband of 68 years, Howard Hansen; daughter, Sandra Brown; son, Howard “Tommy” Hansen, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Hansen; sister, Stella Way; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
