Retired AKC James Hampton (Jim), Jacksonville passed away 9/17/2010. He was born 2/08/1943 to Tom and Irene Hampton in Norman Park Ga. He is survived by his wife Betty; two daughters, Anne DeShaw and Cora Stone; son, James Jr; 5 grandchildren: Seth and Gabrielle De Shaw, Thea, Kelsey and Jessica Hampton; 2 brothers, Gerald and Michael Hampton; and a sister, Patricia Brown. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Thomas. Jim served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years and will receive a Military Burial at Sea. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida.
