Stephen Michael Ober, 68, of St. Johns, FL passed away October 5, 2010 after a brief illness.

Born in Brooklyn NY on August 25, 1942, Steve graduated from Pratt and NYU with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed by the Florida Department of Financial Services.

Steve is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Ober; daughter, Shari Hetzelson; son-in-law, Eric; grandsons, Joshua and Adam; mother, Edith Dolowich; and brother, Marvin and wife Anne.

Plans for a memorial service are being prepared.

Steve will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His warmth and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
