William “Bill” Robert Herron, 79, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 following a lengthy illness. Born in Columbus, OH, he had been a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Herron honorably served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lodema Wickliff and is survived by 2 sons, William R. Herron, Jr. (June) and David K. Martain (Linda); 2 daughters, Robyn Herron Mann (William) and Karen M. Durham (Jimmy); 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:30 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL.
