Naval Radarman Alan Lloyd Miller passed away on Wednesday, April the 8th, 2026 at the age of 82.

He was born September 21, 1943, and was the first son of Arthur and Joyce Miller where he spent his early years on an island off the coast of California named Catalina. He joined the Navy and met his wife Carol Jean at a USO dance. They married in May 1963. The two of them traveled for years with their children before settling in Jacksonville, Florida where their youngest daughter was born. After the Navy, Alan spent some time managing a Radio Shack before retiring as a truck driver. They had three daughters altogether.

Alan is survived by his oldest daughter, Cathy A. Horn, granddaughter and great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Jean and daughters Denise M. Rickman, Julie L. Miller and grandson Doug L. Rickman.
