Albert Leonce Dowling, 75 yrs old, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on July 22, 2026. He was born to Beulah & Claude Dowling on January 26, 1951, in Jacksonville, FL. Albert graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He was married to Michele Dowling before her passing in 2022. Their home Parrish was Assumption Catholic Church, and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered for his hilarious humor, stories, amazing cooking, being a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, friend and faithful man of God.

Albert is survived by Michele Dowling, Amanda Rowe(daughter), Elizabeth Rowe (granddaughter), Carley Sheppard (daughter), James Sheppard (son-in-law), Margaret Sheppard (granddaughter) and James Sheppard Jr. (Grandson).

A memorial mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on August 20, 2026, at 12:00pm and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery at 1:30pm.

Flowers can be sent to the church on the day of funeral.
