Benjamin Cates Olliff Jr, MD (Ben)

Passed on Monday June 5 in Hospice care.

Born January 4th, 1939 in Montezuma Georgia to Benjamin Cates Olliff Sr and Sarah Saunders Olliff.

He graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta Georgia. He served four years in the United States Navy including a tour in Vietnam as a medical officer.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice Holton Olliff; children Lisa (Mike) Montgomery, David (Nell) Olliff, Chris (Laura) Olliff, Joye McCrea, Cate’ (Alan) Cleland, Sarah (Darin) Peckham; grandchildren Lander and Grey Ellis, Gracie and Ellie McCrea, Max, Graham, Sally, and August Cleland, Ruby Peckham; sisters Sally (Huel) White and Beth (Jim) Walker. He was predeceased by son Scotty Olliff, sister Lulu Glen, and son-in-law Jeff McCrea.

Memorial service to be held on Saturday, June 10, at 10:00 am, at Mandarin Presbyterian Church.
