It is with heartfelt love and deep sorrow, our family announces Betty Ann Badolato passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 3, 2025, in Jacksonville, FL. She was 88 years old.

Born March 24, 1937, Betty was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ and moved to Piscataway, NJ where she spent most of her life before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 2002. Betty was loved by many and poured her heart into raising her children and several of her grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and provided unconditional love to all that knew her. Her home was always open providing a place of comfort to all. Betty’s legacy is one of boundless love, laughter, resilience, and the strength to care for others. She touched countless lives and leaves behind endless memories that will be treasured forever. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace and surrounded by loved ones.

Betty is survived by five children, Victoria Gordon (Don) of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas Badolato (Bonnie) of Saylorsburg, PA, Beth Massa of Shrewsbury, NJ, Christine Badolato of Longs, SC and James Badolato of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by one sister, Linda Longo, 12 grandchildren (Tracy, Toni, Charlie, Corey, Kimberly, TJ, Stacey, Nick, Gabby, Brittany, Amber, and Haily) 21 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P Badolato, daughter Patricia Sanderson and granddaughter Jamie Murray.

Her presence will be deeply missed, and her love will live on forever in the hearts of her family.

A celebration to honor Betty’s life will be held in New Jersey at a future date.
