Betty and Don, together, worked hard, built a life, and chose one another through every season. Their marriage was rooted in faith and commitment, and later in life chose to be baptized together, reflecting the shared belief that guided their lives. She lived as a bridge of faith and love during life’s troubled waters.

She was a loving and devoted mother, a proud grandmother “Nana” and great grandmother. Her spirit was creative and she had a gift for finding joy in simple things.

She loved reading, sewing, painting, and creating. She delighted in collecting model trains and took her grandchildren on surprise train trips. Some of her most treasured time was spent at Swan Lake, where she loved the water, the sunshine and taking her grandchildren for rides on the jet ski and golf cart. She also loved to travel, especially on cruises, believing the best experiences were the ones shared with family.

Her faith guided how she lived and how she loved. Betty will be remembered as faithful, creative, sharp-witted, and kind. Her song of faith and love continues through those she leaves behind.

A celebration of Betty’s life we be held at 11:00 am on January 16, 2026, at First Baptist Church Baldwin.
