Byron Leroy Fennell (Jacksonville, Florida) passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 at St. Catherine’s Laboure Manor.

Byron was born on June 25, 1943 to Olius Leroy Fennell and Dorothy Horne Fennell. He attended schools in Jacksonville, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School and Jones Business College.

Byron was employed and retired from Florida National Bank.  While there he met and married the love of his life Mary Ruth Fooshee.  They were married 48 ½ years prior to Mary’s passing in 2017.

He is survived by his brother Kenyon Fennell (Mary Ann), son Raymond Fennell, daughter Dorothy Fennell, granddaughter Makayla Fennell, and many nieces and nephews.

His celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, 11:30 AM at St. Peters Episcopal Church located at 5042 Timuquana Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32210.  In lieu of flowers the family kindly request donations be made to St. Peters Episcopal Church and or BabyLuv.
