Obituary

Charles “Big E / Buddy” Ellisor was born September 11, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to James and Mary (Ingle) Ellisor. He spent his early years on the Westside before moving to Arlington where he remained until his death. He lived a life worthy of honors; he was an Eagle Scout, a US Army Green Beret and Vietnam War Veteran, recipient of a National Defense Service Medal, a Purple Heart and five Bronze Stars, and a former American Legion Commander. But despite all his service, the thing he was most proud of was his family.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his daughter, Susan “Boogie” (Jeffrey); sister, Linda; nephew, Charlie (Lisa), and grand-niece, Samantha.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at the American Legion Post 283 on Saturday, January 25 th at 1pm. A Celebration of Life reception will be immediately following in the Post hall.
He will be laid to rest in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
