Constance “Connie” Jean Parish Wilson passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born on September 20, 1951, in Jacksonville, Connie was the daughter of the late Dwight H. Parish, Sr. and Mary L. (Parish) Ard. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1969 and went on to dedicate her life to education. A retired educator, Connie taught at Westwood Christian School for nearly 30 years, where she shaped young minds and left a lasting impression on countless students. She was not only a teacher by profession, but a teacher at heart.
Connie faithfully and quietly served others throughout her life. For many years, she lovingly cared for children in the church nursery, nurturing little ones and supporting families with her steady kindness and gentle presence. Serving others was not something she sought recognition for—it was simply who she was.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Adam J. Wilson, and her brother, Dwight H. Parish, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Ashley R. Hatch (Travis) and Rebecca J. Wilson; her cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Raegan, Beauen, and Violet; her sister, Norma E. Newell (Bill); and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Pinemount Baptist Church in McAlpin, Florida.
