IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dale Helena
Neddo
January 24, 1942 – January 5, 2026
Dale Helena Neddo, age 83, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 5th at 7:32 p.m., with her daughter at her bedside, her hand held in love.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was rooted in love, warmth, and family. She especially loved Christmas and the traditions that brought family together. She cherished time with family, loved going to her beach condo, gardening, and had a tender heart for dogs and critters. She was beautiful and full of grace, a quiet presence whose kindness was felt by all who knew her.
Creative at heart, Dale enjoyed arts and crafts and expressed her love through cooking and baking, often bringing people together around the table. Painting was one of her quiet talents—a brief, beautiful chapter that brought her peace. She took care of her family and friends, offering comfort, help, and a steady presence whenever it was needed. She had a special way of caring for her grandchildren, always making each one feel deeply loved, supported, and protected, and shared a particularly close bond with her grandson, Cadden, who brought her the greatest joy.
She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and quiet strength.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Neddo and Chris Neddo, and her daughter, Kelly Neddo.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard, who passed in 2023, and whom she missed deeply.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the hospice nurses and Chaplain Thomas with Vitas for their compassion, comfort, and guidance during her final days.
A memorial service for local friends and family will be held at a later date. Dale will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband in New York State, in the family plot.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
