David H. Youse, Jr. of Mandarin, FL passed away on September 8, 2021 from long term heart and kidney issues. Born to David and Elizabeth Youse on May 8 th , 1946. He attended Dupont Sr High and South Georgia College. Soon after married his wife of 54 years Anita Hutchinson Youse.
Dave spent over 50 years in the construction industry predominately in prestressed concrete and light gauge steel. Projects he was involved with that he loved to point out to their kids and grandkids included The Buckman Bridge, The Gator Bowl, the First Baptist Parking Garage, and the Seminole Baseball Field among others.
He fondly spoke of his time and involvement with The Coffee House Youth ministry at All Saints Episcopal Church during the early 70’s. Throughout the 70’s he also enjoyed running the roads while a member of Jax Alert CB Organization. The Eastgate Family while in Tallahassee was always cherished. And he loved his time serving and fellowshipping with All Souls, Kairos, Happening and Cursillo. He was a converted Gator, becoming a Dadgum FSU fan.
Preceded in death by his eldest grandson, David Nathan.
Survived by his bride Anita Hutchinson Youse, daughter Noel Youse Losco (Freddie Jr), son Troy David Youse (Stacey), and grandchildren: Jacob (Kori), Yvonne (Drew), Mason, Logan and great-granddaughters Emily and Alyssa; including numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to be September 25, 2021 at 1:00pm, All Souls Anglican Church, 4042 Hartley Road, Jacksonville FL 32257. Interment at All Souls Memorial Garden immediately following the service. Family will receive guests at the Mandarin Senior Center, 3848 Hartley Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 immediately following the service.
