Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Sattely, 71, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on June 16, 1954, in Dover, New Jersey, Dottie lived a beautiful life centered around love, laughter, and family. She spent most of her years in Mine Hill, NJ, where she and her husband, Dennis Sattely, shared an extraordinary 52 years of marriage filled with joy, adventure, and unwavering devotion. In 2022, Dottie and Dennis began a new chapter together in Saint Johns, Florida, embracing retirement and sunshine with open hearts.

Dottie’s heart belonged to her family — her daughter Renee Martin and son-in-law Shane, her son Dennis Jr., and her adored grandchildren, Carter and Hundley, who brought endless joy to her world. She loved being a wife, mom, and grandma more than anything, and her greatest happiness came from time spent with those she loved most.

To know Dottie was to know kindness, warmth, and a touch of sparkle. She was unselfish, passionate, caring, and always ready with a laugh or a hug. Her love for people was genuine and effortless — she made everyone feel like family.

She filled her days with the things that made her happiest: traveling, discovering new restaurants, exploring old mansions, and celebrating her favorite seasons — especially Christmas and Halloween. She had a soft spot for alternative music, horror movies, and crime shows, and she loved the thrill of a spontaneous casino trip.
