Easton Elijah Gage Bruce

Easton Elijah Gage Bruce, 22, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on July 13th, 2025.

Born to Catherine Chiumento and Paul Joseph Bruce on December 24th, 2002, in Orange Park, Florida, Easton was a graduate and hard worker and loved to learn new things. He was a parishioner at St. Paul's Catholic Church - Riverside where he was confirmed and enjoyed volunteering with the Knights of Columbus making fried fish dinners. Easton was very athletic and enjoyed playing most sports such as baseball and basketball and he lettered in football and wrestling.

Our "Gage" will be remembered for his awesome smile, infectious laugh, and compassion for all living things. He was a lover of all music and playing guitar. In life he was playful, funny, fearless and always willing to lend a hand. He loved fiercely and will be deeply missed by all who remember him.

Easton is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Dolores Chiumento and his great-grandmother Tessie Mavorine McAnnally Bruce.

Easton is survived by his loving mother Catherine Alvarado, stepfather Nicholas Alvarado, father Paul Joseph Bruce, brothers Logan Chiumento, Jake Bruce, Caine Bruce & Logan Alvarado, sister Meilin Alvarado, grandmother Theresa Martin, grandmother and grandfather Jeanette & Timothy Bruce, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church - Riverside on Saturday July 19th, 2025, at noon. Reception to follow.
