Felix Grantley Deane departed this earthly home on the 28th day of May 2023 at 6:19pm in St. Vincent’s Ascension Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Felix was born on October 8, 1952, the fourth child of the late Dudley & Gwendolyn Deane of Arthur Seat, St Thomas, Barbados.

Felix is survived by his wife Shirley Holder Deane; children, Ryan, Tamara and Breana Deane; granddaughter, Cheyanne Deane; brothers, Oswald, Everton & Carlisle Deane; sister, Patsy Deane of Barbados; nieces and nephews, Sharon Jupiter of Atlanta, Georgia, Natalie, Keziah and Anderson Deane of Barbados; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lionel, Henderson, Patsy, Adrian, Wayne, Roger, and Portia; goddaughters, Zarina and Kanysha; son-in-law, Michael Golding and daughter-in-law, Channel Deane; cousins, Hendy, Euclid, Eudene and Pauline Thomas; great-nieces and great-nephews, many friends and relatives. Felix is preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Gwendolyn Deane, and his brother, Rudolph Deane.
