Henry Francis Serveiss, Jr., 52, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on September 29, 2025.
Henry was born to Lillian Serveiss and Henry Francis Serveiss, Sr. on January 8, 1952. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, served in the USMC and US Army, graduated from Fort Polk Louisianna in 1970, and retired from Crowley. He married Dorothea Emily Serveiss twice—once on August 28, 1971, and again on September 29, 1980.
Henry was a sergeant in the US Army. He served in Vietnam and earned the National Defense Service metal in the Marine Corps. He is a member of the American Legion. He received an Army Achievement Medal on September 5, 1985, for his 1st Battalion, 315th Infantry. Sergeant Henry emulated those characteristics of a soldier which held high esteem throughout his service in the US Army.
Henry is survived by his daughters Susan Daughtry, Rachelle Serveiss & Renee Serveiss, his son Keith Lyszkowski, his sister Carol Irvings, his brothers Bob Serveiss & Ed Serveiss, his nieces Amber Irvings, Susan Serveiss, Jody Serveiss, Cindy Lewis & Tammy Beaver, his nephews Chris Irvings, Timmy Beaver, Darien Serveiss & Bobby Serveiss, his grandsons Matthew Sheldon, Johnathan Sheldon & Michael Sheldon, his great-grandson Memphis Sheldon, and many more loved ones.
