Inge D. Sullivan April 25, 1944 – June 21, 2026 Inge D. Sullivan, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of fierce love, hard work, and devotion to her family and friends. Born on April 25, 1944, in Stuttgart Germany, Inge was preceded in death by her parents, Ernst Wilhem Wolf and Maria Hilda Wolfe, her loving husband Thomas M. Sullivan, Jr, and her son-in-law Joe Creamons III. Her life changed forever when she met a young U.S. Army soldier stationed in Stuttgart, Germany—Thomas M. Sullivan, Jr. He became the absolute love of her life. The two were married in December 1964, embarking on a beautiful journey together that spanned decades. She is now peacefully reunited with her beloved Tom. Inge was a woman defined by her character: she was loving, caring, generous, hardworking, and refreshingly direct. She poured her time and energy into her community, working for many years at the Jacksonville Humane Society Thrift Store, and most recently, at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. A passionate animal lover, Inge, adored all creatures, but she held a particularly special place in her heart for her pugs: Gwendolyn, Rosie, Milo, and Alice. Above all, Inge fiercely loved her family. She was immensely proud of both her children and her grandchildren and their accomplishments. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Linda Sullivan Creamons, grandson, Joseph K. Creamons IV, granddaughter, Grace E. Creamons; and her son, Thomas M. Sullivan III (Kim Sullivan), and grandchildren, Emily Sullivan Hardee (Mason Hardee), Jackson Sullivan, and Mackenzie Sullivan. To ensure that all of her family can travel and attend, the family will host a Celebration of Life late this fall. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Inge’s honor to the Jacksonville Humane Society, a cause truly close to her heart.
