Janie Roberta Byrne, 73, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on December 3, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1951, in Jacksonville to Jacqueline Richards.

Janie graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and worked at Wells Fargo for 32 years. She was married to James F. Byrne, Sr., with whom she shared many years of partnership and family life.

She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her consistent willingness to help others.

Janie is survived by her husband, James; her sister Paulette Valla; her son, James F. Byrne Jr.; her daughter, Jamie-Lee Byrne; and her grandchildren, Wesley James Byrne, Dominic James Byrne, and Lorelai Olivia Byrne.

Her family will carry forward her memory with respect and appreciation.

There will be a memorial reception on Wednesday December 10th, 6-8pm at Blue Fish Restaurant.
