June Marie Peyton Adams Hudson, born June 13th,1932, in Botwood, Newfoundland, to Maxwell and Marion Adams, peacefully departed this life on January 8th, 2026, after a life well lived. She married the love of her life, Robert Mays Hudson, in 1955. Robert and June happily moved and traveled many places around the world during Robert’s career. Eventually, they settled down in Jacksonville, Florida in the 1970s.

June enjoyed the thrill of life that came from traveling and meeting new people. She appreciated and embraced different cultures especially through the arts. She expressed her creative spirit through knitting, painting, floral designing, dancing, and baking. Most importantly she had a caring heart and spent her days as a homemaker creating a beautiful family.

June will be remembered for the love she had for life, unwavering devotion to her family and her proud Newfoundland roots. She was a remarkable Mother, Nana, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her wisdom, humor, and generosity.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Hudson, her brother, Maurice Adams, and her sister, Alice Adams.

June is survived by her sons, Robert Hudson, Edward (Mari) Hudson, and Donald (Susan) Hudson; her grandchildren: Jessica Hudson, Ryan Hudson, Jimena Hudson, Eduardo Hudson, Peyton Hudson, Paige Hudson, and Chloe Hudson; and her brother, Robert Adams, along with many other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held with family and friends at a later date.
