Kenneth E. Maloney, Sr.

Kenneth E. Maloney Sr, passed away surrounded by his family in the hospice "Douglas Care Center" in Jacksonville, Florida.

Kenneth was born 10/29/1948 in Milford, De to Jessie and Herbert Maloney Sr. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents and
grandson; Ronald Alda Carroll III.

He was drafted into the US Army December 19, 1968 serving in the front lines of the Vietnam War as a lineman in communications as a Private E1 and was Honorably Discharged in 1971. He later enlisted into the United States Coast Guard in 1973 for 18 years as a cook and 1st class Petty officer, retiring in 1991. He also worked for 13 years and retired from Baltimore Air Coil in Milford, Delaware.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Laraine L. Maloney. His children Kenneth E Maloney Jr (Wanda) of Seaford, De, Kellie A. Othman (Mohamed) of Frederica, De, Kevin S. Maloney of Frederica, De and step daughter Laura Rigel (Will) of Jacksonville, Fl, along with 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Herbert Jr and Robert Maloney and 3 sisters, Deborah Fisher, Kenzel Bunting, and Theresa Brown, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed playing cards (POGO online), shooting pool as well as a love for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Baltimore Orioles.

His graveside services will be Friday, June 2, 2023 at 1pm at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Delaware.
