L. Quentin Lane, 88, died peacefully at his home in Fleming Island, FL on June 5, 2023.  Dr. Lane was President Emeritus of Cleveland State Community College.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn; his daughter Darlene Lane-Detman (Pat) of Ooltewah, TN; step-son Stephen Higgins (Amy) Jacksonville, FL; step-daughter Kelly Jackson (Mark) Fleming Island FL; step-granddaughter Asia d'Acquarone Verona, Italy.  He is also survived by his special friend Adrian Locklear.  He is also survived by sisters-in-law Joyce Lane, Chattanooga, TN and Hazel Lane, Hixson TN and several nieces and nephews.  In accordance with his written instructions there will be no memorial service.  Arrangements are being provided by A Dignified Alternative-Hatcher, Jacksonville, FL.  In lieu of flowers or donations show love and kindness to others.
