Mary Josephine “Mary Jo” (Hartley) Brown, a native of Mandarin and longtime resident of South Georgia, passed away surrounded by family. Today, those who knew and loved her pause to honor a life marked by strength, independence, and unwavering determination.

Mary Jo is survived by her children, Gayle Farnam (Chuck), Bobbi Edwards (Jeff), Keith Dukes (Rhonda), Milton Dukes (Cheryl) and DeeLynn Dukes. She also leaves behind a cherished legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her spirited nature forward with love and pride.
