Michael Alan Weitnauer, 61, of Jacksonville, Florida passed peacefully at home on May 6, 2026. He was born to Carl and Eileen Weitnauer in Jacksonville, Florida.

Michael had a deep love for music, food and United States history. He enjoyed a good belly laugh, sitting on the beach with his fishing pole, and he loved his Jaguars. Clint Eastwood’s line “There’s a rebel lying deep in my soul” is something that Mike lived up to from the time he could walk.

Michael is survived by his brothers Alan Weitnauer and Robbie Weitnauer (Susan), his niece Taylor Stroble (Justin), his great-nieces Abree and Amelia Stroble and his nephew Miles Weiitnauer.

He is preceded in death by his father Carl Weitnaur, mother Eileen Weitnauer and nephew Kyle Weitnauer.

May his soul, like those before him, find peace like the calm water at sunset.
