Patrick James Boleky of Middleburg, Florida passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2026 at the age of 46. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He met his wife Shelly Boleky at 19. They were soulmates. They had 4 beautiful children together.
Patrick is survived by his wife Shelly Boleky, his Children Tyler Boleky (Savannah Borum), Scott Boleky, Hannah Boleky, and Preston Boleky, his grandson Oliver Borum, his father Steven (Linda) Boleky, his brother Steven Boleky II (Amanda Coffee), Many nieces and nephews, and many more family members.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Jennifer Boleky, and Eileen Austin, and his mother Susan Boleky.
Patrick was a plumber for over 20 years. He enjoyed his work. He did it well. His coworkers became friends, and that made his job easier to like. He helped many family members with their plumbing issues. That’s who he was, always helped.
Patrick was a member of the American Poolplayers Association (APA). He played every week; he was on multiple teams on multiple nights. He showed up no matter what was going on. He loved the sport, and wanted to learn, and improve his game. He had such a great attitude, even when he lost. He was friendly with everyone, and loved his pool family.
Patrick enjoyed hanging out with his best friend Edward Bush. It could be just sitting and talking about life, working on each other’s houses or vehicles, going to the lake, playing pool, or his favorite poker nights. He was an incredible friend.
Patrick was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back. He always made time to help others, when needed. He was a good man that enjoyed joking around, and laughing with others. His laugh was contagious. His personality was one of a kind. Everyone that met him became friends instantly.
Patrick was a family man; they were always doing something together. He loved helping his children learn new things. He was an amazing dad. He was also an incredible papa to his grandson Oliver, his pride and joy. He loved his family. He will be greatly missed.
Patrick’s memorial service will be on March 28, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Orange Park Church of the Nazarene.
