Richard Sandrowicz passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at the age of 57. He was a resident of Jacksonville, FL and is survived by his wife of 19 years, Marsha Sandrowicz. He was born to Stanley Sr. and Lillian Sandrowicz on November 23, 1967.

Upon graduation from high school, Richard enlisted in the United States Army and served our nation of 4 years. After leaving the U.S. Army, Richard went to work for Winn-Dixie Corporation and operated as a butcher for 25 years.

Richard and Marsha shared a wonderful life together and were uniquely married on horseback in the company of family and friends. Marsha shares the heartfelt story of what she claims can only be God’s hand at work, even then, 19 years ago as they were just beginning their journey together as man and wife. He was a hardworking man and treasured his wife, stepdaughter, and step-grandson lovingly well. For those who knew him, they will share of his passion for jokes and his uncanny ability to make a silly song out of anything, anywhere. His simple presence made every visit or occasion special.

Richard had a resilient faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ; his joy and exuberance will be deeply missed and remembered. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marsha; his brother, Stanley Jr.; his sister, Diana Skaines; his sister-in-law, Rose and his step-grandson, Lyric Witter.

Richard and his wife were active members of MorningStar Family Church. He will be cremated and we invite friends and family to join us in a Celebration of His Life Service on October 3, 2026, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, at MorningStar Family Church located at 3900 Main Street, Middleburg, FL 32068.
