Robert Elkany Johnson

January 13, 1938 — December 12, 2021

Robert “Bob” Johnson passed away peacefully after battling cancer on December 12, 2021.  He was born on January 13,1938, in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania to Edna and Bob Johnson.  He attended the Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pennsylvania in 1956 and was an avid baseball fan and could tell you the history of every Philly player.  Bob enjoyed activities such as boating, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family.

Bob learned the business of refrigeration working in the field for wholesalers in the Philadelphia Area and later joined his father in 1960 to form the Johnson & Johnson family team representing Jarrow Products in the mid-Atlantic States.  Bob later went on to join JB Industries in Aurora, Illinois as a manufacturer’s representative traveling all over the world doing presentations and training.  He was highly regarded as someone who went above and beyond the expectation of a manufacturer’s rep in the business.

Bob is survived by his three children; Elaine Ginder, Karen Folds and Robert Johnson, son-in-law Billy Folds, son-in-law Dennis Ginder, daughter-in-law Anita Faulk, grandchildren; Bradley and wife Sydney, Tanner, Alexa, Karis, Landon, his sister Peggy Pettibone and brother-in-law Tom Pettibone, and niece and nephew and their families.
